To conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water and other natural resources of the United States and other lands; to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization.
Rochester ChapterThe Rochester MN Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is involved in the community is many ways. At our wetland we are providing opportunities for local groups, such as the Boy Scouts, to complete community service projects. We provide college scholarships and science fair awards to local students. Our cabin, with its unique fireplace, is located on Silver Lake and has been part of the community for many years.
