IWLA Mission Statement

To conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water and other natural resources of the United States and other lands; to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization.

Rochester Chapter

The Rochester MN Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is involved in teaching the community about the value of preserving our natural resources. At our Wetland Reserve we provide opportunities for local youth groups to complete community service projects and provide college scholarships and science fair awards to local students. Our historic cabin, with its unique fireplace, is located on Silver Lake and has been part of the community for many years.  The Rochester Chapter of the IWLA is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
